DaeSung Fox-300 Series Communication Driver

 

DaeSung Fox-300 Series Communication Driver is the driver to communicate with temperature/humidity controller of DaeSung Eng.in Korea.

 

1. Read settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of  DaeSung Fox-300 Series communication driver.

Device part of  <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively.

DaeSung Fox-300 Serie controller can set baud rate (1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200) and controller address(0 ~ 99) by using 'setton button' or 'write settings'.

 

DaeSung Fox-300 Series communication driver¡¯s read schedule 

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:

1) STATION – Controller address = 0 ~ 99.

2) Read Command – Command = TP0, HP0, TS0 ~ TS9, TSA ~ TSG, HS0 ~ HS9, HSA ~ HSD. ( for 302 model, Refer to <Table 1> )

3) Read Start Address Don't care.

4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.

5) Read Size – Fixed to 1.

<Table 1> is a description of read commands type and stored values of DaeSung Fox-300 Series communication driver.

DaeSung Fox-300 Series communication driver store the same data in WORD, DWORD, FLOAT memory, but the data format are different.

If you click the icon  in protocol option part, you can see the dialogue box such as <Figure 2>. you can also set read schedule by using this part.

 You can set read schedule by using , , button and listbox of <Figure 2>.

When you click Add button or Edit button in dialogue box of <Figure 2>, dialogue box of <Figure 3> is shown.

  

2. Writing settings

You can write setting value by using write settings.

  

Bit Write

Bit write and word write have the same setting parameters except output value.( 0 or 1 )

 

Word Write

Word write setting parameters are as follows:

1)  PORT                   Port no. (0 ~ 255)

2)  STATION             Controller address = 0 ~ 99.

3)  ADDRESS           Don't care.

4)  Extra1                   Write command = TS0 ~ TS9, TSA ~ TSG, HS0 ~ HS9, HSA ~ HSD. ( for 302 model, Refer to <Table 1> )

5)  Extra2                   Use of dot position.

1 = use 1 dot position, ( TS0, ..)

0 : don't use dot position.

 

Write example 1)

PORT : 0   STATION : 1   ADDRESS : 0000  EXTRA1 : TS0  EXTRA2 : 1

The setting parameter shown above is an example of temperature setting to 1 DaeSung Fox-300 Series controller address.( dot position = 1 )

 

Write example 2)

PORT : 0   STATION : 1   ADDRESS : 0000  EXTRA1 : HS0  EXTRA2 : 0

The setting parameter shown above is an example of humidity setting to 1 DaeSung Fox-300 Series controller address.

 

Write example 3)

PORT : 0   STATION : 1   ADDRESS : 0000  EXTRA1 : TS1  EXTRA2 : 0

The setting parameter shown above is an example of temperature type(0 = C( Cooler ), 1 = H( Heater )) setting to 1 DaeSung Fox-300 Series controller address.

   

3. Connection of communication cable and main power line

Connection of communication cable and main power line are as follows.

 

Connection of communication cable

You have to connect RS-485 communication cable between DaeSung Fox-300 Series and computer such as <Figure 4>.

Please connect 100 ~ 240 V AC 50/60 HZ main power to 'AC IN' connector.
